Recently, our 87yr old neighbor moved from his Michigan residence to a Wisconsin nursing home. It was sad for everyone. I've been sending something to him each month. Last month, I'd run out of different food items he liked and was looking for something else to send. His son said there were newspaper articles about his Dad shooting a record deer back in the 1970's but could not provide an accurate date. If I could get the article, he'd enjoy seeing it. I tried various internet newspaper searches. I was stumped. But the Neenah Public Library came through!! I was lucky to converse with Mehta who immediately set out to find the article. Shortly after we talked, she located a 12/7/75 Post-Crescent article describing the event. Mehta sent the article to me, I sent it on. He was very, very happy.
