Celebrating Literacy. The Library can only be an outstanding and innovative community resource with your help.
Gifts made directly to the Library can be designated to support materials, programming, or a particular purpose through the Neenah Public Library Trust Fund or to help the Friends of the Neenah Public Library. Undesignated donations are used for the general needs of the Library.

Gift and Memorial Donations
Donating to the Neenah Public Library is a meaningful way to celebrate or honor an important person in your life. Contributions are used to purchase material for the collection or sponsor a library program. The honored person or persons are acknowledged with a bookplate or listed on marketing material and thanked and mentioned before the event.
Gift and memorial donations can be made to the Library's Trust Fund or the Friends of the Neenah Public Library.
Become a friend of the Neenah Public Library
The Friends of the Neenah Public Library is a non-profit volunteer 501(c)(3) organization committed to meeting the needs of the Library. Our purpose is to maintain an association of persons interested in libraries to focus public attention on the Library; to stimulate the use of the Library's resources and services; to receive and encourage gifts, endowments, and bequests to the Library; to support and cooperate with the Library in developing library services and facilities for the community.
If you appreciate the value of our Library and want to demonstrate your commitment, please become a member of the Friends of the Neenah Public Library. Complete a Friends of the Neenah Public Library Membership Application [pdf] online and email it to director@neenahlibrary.org. You may pay the membership fee using PayPal or by sending a check to Neenah Public Library, PO Box 569, Neenah, WI 54957-0569. Applications are also available at the Circulation Desk at the Library.
Book donations
We accept donations of gently used books, audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, magazines (not National Geographic magazine), and LPs for our ongoing and annual book sales. Thank you for your donations!
We do not accept the following:
- Reader's Digest Condensed books
- Encyclopedia Sets
- Musty smelling books
- Textbooks older than 10 years
- Travel Guides older than 3 years
- VHS and cassette tapes
- National Geographic magazine

Volunteers
…make a HUGE difference! Over 2300 hours were volunteered in 2022- and volunteers shelved almost HALF of all the circulated items!
…make their OWN SCHEDULE. Once you have been trained, you can come when it is convenient for you!
…come in all shapes and sizes! Teens, adults, and seniors can all volunteer at the Library- there's something for everyone!
