100 Things To Do in Wisconsin Dells Before You Die with freelance travel writer, Melanie Radzicki McManus
Wisconsin Dells is a fascinating place to explore. There are its plethora of waterparks and attractions, of course, but also a rich geologic history and culture, a wealth of prime recreational opportunities and much more. Local jourmalist Melanie Radzicki McManus has been covering the Dells for more than 25 years and will talk about its evolution as a tourist destination. She’ll also discuss her recently released book 100 Things to Do in Wisconsin Dells Before You Die to help kickstart your trip planning.
Melanie Radzicki McManus has hiked more than 8,800 miles (14,162 km) over the last decade in locales around the globe. She is currently in the midst of hiking all 11 of America’s National Scenic Trails. To date she has completed the Arizona Trail, Florida Trail, Ice Age Trail, Natchez Trace, New England Trail, and the Potomac Heritage Trail. She has also completed 1,800 miles (2,896.8 km) of the North Country Trail.
Her book, 100 Things To Do in Wisconsin Dells Before You Die, will be available for purchase at the event for $18 with cash, check, credit card or Venmo.
