First Friday Concert Series: Linda Sparks & Rhonda Rizzo

Join us for an exciting afternoon performance from talented pianists, Linda Sparks and Rhonda Rizzo!

This dynamic duo will perform a two-piano concert in a performance titled, Shall We Dance?

 

About the Pianists

Linda Sparks, pianist, is a well-known performer and teacher in the Fox Valley region in Wisconsin. A native of Alabama, she earned her Master’s in piano performance at the University of Alabama, where she graduated with special honors, and then taught at Jacksonville State University, Alabama, before moving to Wisconsin. A staff accompanist at Lawrence Conservatory, she has taught at UW-Green Bay, UW-Fox Valley, Lawrence Academy of Music, and continues to maintain a private teaching studio.”

"Rhonda (Ringering) Rizzo is a writer, blogger, and a former performing and recording pianist. Her numerous articles have appeared in national and international music magazines, including Pianist Magazine, American Music Teacher, Clavier, Piano & Keyboard, and Flute Talk. A specialist in music that borrows from both classical and jazz traditions, Rizzo released four CDs, Made in America, Oregon Impressions: the Piano Music of Dave Deason, 2 to Tango: Music for Piano Duet, and A Spin on It."

 

Join us at the library for afternoon concerts from a variety of unique and talented artists! The hour-long concerts begin at 2:00 PM in the Shattuck Community Room. Performances are free and open to the public. The concert series is sponsored by The Friends of the Neenah Public Library.
