Goodwill NCW offering Financial and Debt Solutions Services on What to Do with a Tax Refund?

This informative workshop will cover 2021 refundable tax credits specific to the Child Tax Credit, Earned Income Credit, Child and Dependent Care Credit, and Wisconsin Homestead Credit. Discover ways to make the most of your tax refund to last throughout the year by learning how to set money aside each month to add to your income, balance your budget and reach your financial goals. Find out how creating an emergency fund can make you and your family less vulnerable to job loss, medical expenses, or a major repair. The IRS allows taxpayers to split refunds into three accounts via direct deposit — one for savings, one for paying debt, and one for fun. Goodwill NCW is pleased to sponsor the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program again this year as part of our mission of Elevating People by Eliminating Barriers to Employment. The VITA program offers free income tax assistance and can be reached at 920-968-6044. This workshop is provided to you through a grant from United Way Fox Cities, which is made possible through the generous support of community donors. For more information about the workshop call 920-886-1000.

Masks are required to be worn by all who attend.
