Bill and his sister Susan came in looking for information on the businesses that were located on Wisconsin Avenue in 1958. Bill had worked at the Boehm's Market (203 E Wisconsin Ave) at about that time, along with another guy whose father owned a nearby bakery. Bill was trying to remember the name of that bakery, and with the help of Neenah-Menasha city directories and phone books, we were able to come up with the name: Dutch Oven Bakery at 143 E Wisconsin Ave! It is a very good thing that Bill happened to be visiting Neenah when the memory struck him, as he and his sister were able to stop in and use the Local History room to dig up an answer, while at the same time getting to see the boat slips their father had designed.
