Virtual Only. Please join us on Zoom.

Hear the story of Mallory Mortillaro's journey to authenticate a marble bust of Napoleon sculpted by Auguste Rodin, which sat in a New Jersey town hall for almost 80 years. Mallory will recount the story of being hired straight out of college for a part time art cataloging project and how it morphed into a search for this mysterious piece's provenance, eventually culminating in its authentication by the world's leading Rodin expert. Mallory will also share the story of Geraldine Rockefeller Dodge, the woman who gifted this artwork - along with the entire town hall - all in the name of her one and only lost son. A Q&A will follow Mallory's presentation.

The Neenah Historical Society’s “Tracing Our Paths –Neenah’s Immigration Stories” exhibit features the stories of nine individuals from our community’s past. Join us for a virtual, in-depth interview with one of those individuals as we discover what it was like for a woman from India to arrive in Neenah in 1959. Hansa Joshi’s life story is fascinating, and we know you’ll be inspired by it. This interview was recorded in July of 2021, and we’re so excited to share it with you now!
