The Library will be closed all day on Easter, Sunday, March 31st.
Normal hours will resume on Monday, April 1st.

The Library will be closed Friday, April 12, due to electrical panels being replaced. Patrons may pick up holds curbside between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., and the book drops will remain open.

This year the students will be focusing on the groundbreaking work of Charles Mingus (April 7th), Ornette Coleman (April 14th), Kenny Garrett (April 21st), and Jaimie Branch (April 28th). These are all-ages show.

The game of LIFE isn't always what it's cracked up to be!
Tweens/Teens- Jump into the game! A pre-made scenario of part of your life will be provided to you when you attend.
Here are two examples:
1. You own a mansion on a lake and a red sports car but you have a very low credit score, can you continue through LIFE or will you be caught in debt?
2. Your family has 6 kids and a vacation to plan. But you really want to buy a Motorcycle. Can you afford it? Spin the wheel and see where LIFE takes you!

The fun and interactive FREE event will help teens see the impact of the financial choices they make. Youth imagine their lives fast forwarded into adulthood. They will be assigned an occupation, salary and make decision (good or bad) about a house, a luxury or economical car and navigating the unexpected mishaps.
It's a family dance party! A half-hour of rhythm, rhyme and movement for children of all ages and their grown ups. There will be interactive songs with scarves and shaker eggs, followed by danceable music from hip-hop to Motown to swing. No talent necessary, dancing is required! The program is free – no registration needed.
