Join us in the Yaz Room for an hour of yarn and camaraderie.

 

Bring your own project and tools. We supply the company, moral support, and technical support in knitting and crocheting.

This is an open crafting group. Adult and teenage crafters welcome.

Thursday, May 9

 

All ages and skill levels are welcome! Chess sets will be provided. Coaching and beginner help is available. No registration is necessary. The event takes place on the library's second floor and lasts from 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm.

*Note: Ukulele Open Jam takes the show on the road the second Tuesday of every month, and will be meeting at the New Moon Cafe at 401 N Main St. in Oshkosh.  

Bring music you're working on, something you're having trouble with, play a solo or a duet for the group, play along with your fellow ukers. All skill levels are welcome!

We'll meet in the first floor Storytime room and jam sessions last up to 90 minutes.

Free, open to all, and no registration necessary.

Friday, May 10

It's a family dance party! A half-hour of rhythm, rhyme and movement for children of all ages and their grown ups. There will be interactive songs with scarves and shaker eggs, followed by danceable music from hip-hop to Motown to swing. No talent necessary, dancing is required! The program is free – no registration needed.

 

Saturday, May 11

 

 Put on your fanciest attire and grab your dancing shoes! 

Join us on the library's 2nd floor for an enchanted morning with little ones and caregivers. 

A light snack and drink along with a photo booth are available when you need a break from dancing.

The program runs for one hour starting at 10:30 am and is a drop in event. 

Everyone is encouraged to dress-up!

For ages birth to 5. 

Sunday, May 12

Tests to study for? Homework piling up? Come to our study night for students. We will have free pizza, soda, and snacks. Quiet study spaces for groups or singles.

The library will be open to students from 4-9:00 pm.
