Building Features
Comfort Room: This room is available on a first come basis. The room is equipped with a comfortable chair, low lighting, and hygiene items such as hand sanitizer and wet wipes. Designed for privacy, the Comfort Room is intended for those needing to nurse or pump. Patrons needing to quiet a toddler, child, or even themselves are welcome to use the space. Please visit the Youth Desk to access the room.
Sensory Room: The sensory room is thoughtfully designed to support individuals with sensory processing differences by providing a calming and accommodating environment. The space features fidget tools, adjustable low-lighting options, comfortable seating, and additional sensory supports. Intended for use by children with adult supervision, the sensory room helps ensure a positive and inclusive library experience for all visitors.
Entrance: The entrance to the library does not have steps and features a push activated automatic door.
Parking: Handicap accessible parking is located on Wisconsin Ave along the north side of the library. Van-accessible handicap parking spots are located in the parking lot.
Hearing Loop: The following rooms are equipped with a hearing loop system – Shattuck Room, Storytime Room, Orlady Community Room, and Carpenter Room.
Walker & Transport Chairs: Wheeled walkers and transport chairs are located in the lobby.
Elevator: An elevator located near the main entrance provides access to the 2nd floor.
Changing Stations: Changing Stations are available in all public restrooms on the 1st and 2nd floors.
Accessible Restrooms: Accessible restrooms are located on the 1st and 2nd floors.
Public Computers: Wheelchair accessible computers are available on the 2nd floor with access to the library catalog and the internet.
Services
Book Shuttle: Home Delivery Service provides free library service to the homebound or those living in a residential facility. Residents of the City of Neenah who are unable to come to the library due to physical limitations are eligible for this service.
Curbside Pick-Up: Lbrary staff will check out your holds and place them in the Curbside box outside the front doors or bring these items directly to your vehicle.
ASL Interpretation: When in session, we offer some of our weekly storytimes with ASL interpretation. Interpretation for other library programs may be available upon request.
