Printing, Scanning, Copying, and Faxing
Printing
- Printing is available from the public computers.
- Printing is .10¢for black and white ink and .25¢for color ink per side of the paper.
- Letter, legal, and tabloid paper is available.
- Pay and pick up your prints at the second-floor Adult Reference Desk.
Wireless Printing
- Wi-Fi printing is available at the second-floor Adult Reference Desk.
- Printing is .10¢ for black and white ink and .25¢ for color ink per side of the paper.
- Pay and pick up your prints at the second-floor Adult Reference Desk.
- You must be in the library to print. Please do not send print jobs until you are near the second-floor printer.
- Staff cannot receive email attachments to be printed.
- To print wirelessly, connect your device to the Neenah Public Library’s Wi-Fi network: Neenah Public Library.
Follow the instructions below for your specific device:
Android Device
- Connect your device to the library’s Wi-Fi network: Neenah Public Library.
- First-time users need to download the Mobility Print App (Device Requirements: Android 12.0+).
- Install the Mobility Print app from the Google Play Store.
- Open Mobility Print, tap to enable notifications.
- Open the document you would like to print.
- Tap the Share icon or print icon in the menu.
- Tap Print and select the printer: neenah lib 2nd floor.
- Tap Options to configure your print. Select black & white or color ink, single or double sided, and paper size.
- Tap Print, then tap the notification on your device to open Mobility Print.
- Enter the username: nplprint and password: print.
- Printing is .10¢ for black and white ink and .25¢ for color ink per side of the paper.
- Pay and pick up your prints at the second-floor Adult Reference Desk.
iOS Device
- Connect your device to the library’s Wi-Fi network: Neenah Public Library.
- On iPhones and iPads, Mobility Print works like AirPrint (Device Requirements: iOS 16.0+).
- Open the document you would like to print.
- Tap the Share icon.
- Swipe through the menu & tap print.
- Select the printer: neenah lib 2nd floor.
- Tap Options to configure your print settings. Select black & white or color ink, single or double sided, and paper size.
- Tap Print in the upper, right corner.
- Enter the username: nplprint and password: print.
- Printing is .10¢ for black and white ink and .25¢ for color ink per side of the paper.
- Pay and pick up your prints at the second-floor Adult Reference Desk.
MAC
- Connect your device to the library’s Wi-Fi network: Neenah Public Library.
- Navigate to System Preferences > Printers and Scanners (Device Requirements: macOS 12+ Monterey, 64-bit).
- Select neenah lib 2nd floor from the list of printers and add it.
- Check that Use is set to, Secure AirPrint.
- If Secure AirPrint isn’t displayed: Close the Add dialog box. Disconnect from the network, then connect to it again. If needed, restart your laptop.
- Check if you can see Secure AirPrint now.
- Click to add the neenah lib 2nd floor printer.
- Configure your print settings. Select black & white or color ink, single or double sided, and paper size.
- Print your document. When prompted, enter the username: nplprint and password: print.
- Printing is .10¢ for black and white ink and .25¢ for color ink per side of the paper.
- Pay and pick up your prints at the second-floor Adult Reference Desk.
Windows
- Connect your device to the library’s Wi-Fi network: Neenah Public Library.
- Download and run Mobility Print Printer Setup (Device Requirements: Windows 11, Windows 10: 64-bit & ARM64).
- On the License Agreement screen, click Next.
- Select a printer; neenah lib 2nd floor, then click Next.
- Enter the username nplprint and password print.
- Click Finish.
- Open the document you would like to print.
- Select Print.
- Configure your print settings. Select black & white or color ink, single or double sided, and paper size.
- Print your document. If prompted, enter the username: nplprint and password: print.
- Printing is .10¢ for black and white ink and .25¢ for color ink per side of the paper.
- Pay and pick up your prints at the second-floor Adult Reference Desk.
Chrome
- Connect your device to the library’s Wi-Fi network: Neenah Public Library.
- Install the Mobility Print Chrome app (Device Requirements: ChromeOS with Chrome version 128+).
- Open the document you would like to print.
- Configure your print settings. Select black & white or color ink, single or double sided, and paper size.
- If printing is available, right-click; then select Print.
- Click Change to choose a printer.
- Select neenah lib 2nd floor as the printer.
- When prompted enter the username: nplprint and password: print.
- Printing is .10¢ for black and white ink and .25¢ for color ink per side of the paper.
- Pay and pick up your prints at the second-floor Adult Reference Desk.
Papercut Email to Print
- Connect your device to the library’s Wi-Fi network: Neenah Public Library.
- You must be in the library building to print. Do not send print jobs until you are by the printer at the library.
- This is the only email that can receive attachments for printing. Library staff cannot open documents on library computers to print.
- This process will only work with PDF, JPG, or PNG files.
- Create a new email message or open the file and select share, then select email to open a new message in your inbox.
- Attach the file to the new email message. Send the email to the address: nplprint@neenahlibrary.org
- Printer settings cannot be configured with this process.
- The document will print directly to the printer.
- Printing is .10¢ for black and white ink and .25¢ for color ink per side of the paper.
- Pay and pick up your prints at the second-floor Adult Reference Desk.
Scanning & Copying
- Self-serve public photocopy machines are available on the first and second floors.
- Copying is .10¢ for black and white ink and .25¢ for color ink copies per side of the paper. Coins and cash ($1, $5 bills) are accepted.
- Documents can be printed from a USB drive on both photocopy machines.
- Documents can be scanned and saved to a USB drive on both photocopy machines, there is no charge to scan documents.
- At the second-floor Adult Reference Desk, patrons may scan documents and send to an email for no charge.
Faxing
- Faxing is available at the second-floor Adult Reference Desk.
- Please ask for assistance, staff will send the fax for you.
- The cost to fax is a flat, $2.00 fee.
- Cover sheets are available, please make sure your papers are free of all staples or tape, and can easily go through the scanner.
- When your fax goes through, you will receive a confirmation report.
- To receive a fax at the library, please contact the Adult Reference Desk for the fax number. The cost to receive a fax is .10¢ per page.
