The 2021 Fox Cities Community Read title is George by Alex Gino
The Fox Cities Book Festival in partnership with public libraries in the Fox Cities has come together with the goal of building a larger sense of community to promote literacy. Each year, we select an author and title to promote for Fox Cities Reads and encourage the people in our communities to read, think, talk, listen, and grow together.
Alex Gino is the author of, George, the 2021 selection for the Fox Cities Reads. We hope the entire community joins us in reading this powerful middle grade book about identity, authenticity, and acceptance.
The Fox Cities Book Festival is honored to host author Alex Gino for a virtual presentation on Thursday, April 15 at 6:30 PM
- The virtual event will be held through Zoom. Please register ahead of the event by clicking on the Zoom link here.
- Fill out the registration form and you will receive a confirmation email with a link to access the virtual event.
- Alex Gino’s visit and talk is a free, open-to-the-public virtual event. They will also make two presentations to school groups earlier that day.
