Author Shayne Davidson and D.M. Testa will join the Neenah Public Library for a spirited presentation “Women on Opposite Sides of the Law” on Zoom Monday, February 22nd at 7:00pm. Learn about three smart, independent women; the notorious criminal Sophie Lyons and John Dillinger’s infamous defenders Jessie Levy and Bess Robbins. While these women may have been on opposite sides of the law, they confronted many of the same challenges and discrimination, persevering in a world where men made up the rules.
