Adult Afternoon Program: ALL ABOUT ANGELS: MESSENGERS TO THE CHILDREN OF ABRAHAM

Angels

All About Angels: Messengers to the Children of Abraham with Kim C. Beck, Executive Director at Osher Lifelong Learning Institute

All three of the world's great monotheistic religions believe in angels.  Within the traditions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam are splendid stories about angels' role in creation, the end of the world and the times in between.  The representations of angels both in art and folk tale, as well as contemporary media provide fascinating glimpses into the perception, beliefs and cultural practices of those who believe in these heavenly messengers.
