Please note this cafe will be held at Valley Academy for the Arts, 139 N. Lake St. Neenah, WI 54956
Dust off your dancing shoes, and join Anne Marie Brunner-Abderholden, Executive/Artistic Director Valley Academy for the Arts, Inc. for a dance themed café. Dance is fun and has many health benefits. Coordination, flexibility, posture and balance are some of the key benefits of dance. Movement to music creates new neuro-pathways which helps with the aging off the brain. Anne Marie is passionate about teaching dance to all ages and bringing people together through the medium of dance. We look forward to you joining us.
Memory Cafés are for those experiencing early stage dementia, mild memory loss or cognitive impairment, and for family and friends of those affected. It’s a great opportunity for lively discussions, information gathering, refreshments, camaraderie, and lots of creative fun thrown in! We have a gerontology professional on hand to answer questions and an enormous wealth of experience among participants to be shared. We’d be delighted if you would join us!
Sponsored by the Fox Valley Memory Project, Neenah Library, and Valley VNA.
